It’s that time of year again! We made photo holders for the grandparents this year.
First, we started off with corkboard and added chalkboard paint to the top 3/4 of it. Next, we hot glued ribbon and a ribbon bow for added decoration across the line that was created between the painted and the unpainted part. Then, we used Sharpie oil based paint markers to stencil & write “Grandkids make life grand!” on the chalkboard portion. Ribbon was nailed with little Brad nails to the back of the corkboard for easy hanging. The last thing we did was hot glue mini clothespins to push tacks. These are the place to hang the pictures and can be moved anywhere on the unprinted corkboard. Here’s the finished product!
P.S. As an extra little bonus, have the Grandkids write a special message or draw on the chalkboard section with chalk! 😉
